Man was created in an immediate and direct act in the very image and likeness of the true and living God. God is trinity and created man of the same substance.

Man is trinity; he was created as such and must recognize his triunity. Man is spirit, soul (mind), and body, just as the Lord God is Spirit (the Holy Spirit), Soul (the Heavenly Father) and Body (the Son – The Lord Jesus Christ, the image of the invincible God – Col. 1:15)
