Moms Donate Wombs to Daughters!

So they can become moms...

 
Two women in Sweden have given their uteruses to their daughters — meaning that their grandchildren could develop in the same wombs as their daughters.   The two recipients both lacked functioning uteruses: One woman was born without one, while the other had hers removed following cervical cancer.   The twin surgeries, conducted over the weekend by a team of more than 10 surgeons, are the world's first mother-to-daughter uterus transplants.   The patients are doing well, but their doctors say they won't call the surgeries "a complete success" until the daughters become mothers themselves.   This is just another example of how selfless mothers are...so every day should definitely be Mother's Day!
