1. Consider tuition free schools like Cooper Union College, Alice Lloyd College, or Curtis Institute of Music.
However, know that their curriculum may be narrow to cater to a type of student. Also some schools like this have no campus and are very competitive and very hard to get in.
2. Consider state schools and programs with free or cheap college tuition for state residents.
If you are a stellar student these schools have an incentive to keep you instate and they might give you a full ride. Michigan has a program in the works for the year 2020 where all students will recieve a $9500 stipend to go to school
3. Apply early for scholarships and grants and cast a very wide net.
4. Know you don’t have to have straight As to get grants or scholarships. There are scholarships and grants for many things and types of students other than straight A students.
5. Research major corporate scholarships from companies like Intel, Microsoft and Cocacola that you can find by googling them.
6. Consider joining the armed forces like the merchant marine, the navy, the military, the airforce, the national guard etc. They all give educational incentives but require 5 years of service in exchange for it.
7. Visit www.fastweb.com and www.scholarship.com to see what you can get.
