Ready to Help? The Domestic Violence Center of Howard County (DVC) could not operate without the generosity of community organizations, businesses and individuals! There are many ways you can support the DVC and assist our clients; including volunteering, participating in a drive or donating items from our Urgent Needs or Wish Lists that are posted on our website. Current Needs Trashcans We are in desperate need of two (2) large trashcans that have locking (bear tight) lids for our Safe Shelter. If you or your organization can help us acquire these items please contact Erin Fox at (410) 997 - 0304 or email her at efox@dvcenter.org. Pantry Drive The DVC maintains a pantry that is available to our clients who need assistance in acquiring essential food, personal and household items. Attached here is a list of items we need to restock our shelves. If you or your organization would like to donate to our Pantry Drive please contact Susan in our Community Engagement Department at (410) 997 - 0304 or email volunteers@dvcenter.org. New Bras Needed As the Rape Crisis Center for Howard County, the DVC maintains a Sexual Assault Hospital Accompaniment Program. As part of that program, we provide survivors with necessary clothing. We are currently in need of (new) bras, especially sports bras in a variety of sizes. If you or your organization can help, please contact Susan in our Community Engagement Department at (410) 997 - 0304 or email volunteers@dvcenter.org.
