On September 16th 2012, Durham’s Carolina Theater came alive as it was the venue for the second annual Nollywood & African Film Critics' Awards (NAFCA), also known as “The African Oscars Award.” African stars such as Van Vicker, Uche Jumbo and Chet Anekwe came to be recognized and celebrated by their very own for their outstanding achievements in the film industry.
