Howardwood, the annual event that gives students direct access to high-profile players in the entertainment industry, returns to Howard University's campus this week. The event will take place Tuesday Oct 16th & Thursday, Oct. 18th. Students will mix with industry professionals who are blazing trails in Hollywood both in front and behind the camera. Many of the participants are Howard alumni. Scheduled events include:
Tuesday Oct 16th
Screenwriter Bootcamp - School of Communications Screening Room West
This event will take place from 9:30am-11am and will feature Dallas Jackson, Screenwriter and Howard University Alum.
This event will take place from 9:40am-11am and will feature Jelani Johnson, Talent Manger of Generate.
This event will take place from 12pm-1pm and will feature Vera Katz, Professor Emerita Department of Fine Arts at Howard University.
Tuesday Oct 18th
Round Table Discussion - Blackburn Ballroom
