Adopt-A-Family Holiday Project Donors Still Needed! Many thanks to the individuals and organizations who are already working with the DVC to make our Thanksgiving Project and Adopt-A-Family Holiday Project successful. Donors Still Needed We still have a few families who need to be matched through our Adopt-A-Family Holiday Project. How it works For the Adopt-A-Family Holiday Project, we will supply you with wish lists of items (clothing, toys, household items, etc.) from a client and his/her children. Whenever possible, we strongly encourage you to consider giving gift cards. The DVC aims for all of our programs to emphasize empowerment, and gift cards allow clients to make choices about the gifts they wish to provide for themselves and their children. For the gifts you do purchase, please wrap them and use a post-it note or similar notation so that we can identify what the gifts are and which family member each item is for. Want to Help? We will need you to bring all items to our office no later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday, December, 12th.
