DCIFF 2013 Festival Call for Submissions

The DCIFF 2013 Festival has already received amazing films, but very excited about seeing even more.
Submissions in the following categories are welcome:
* narrative features
* short films
* documentaries (feature and short)
* animation
* experimental; any length up to 2 hours in all categories.

The festival is open to films of any genre except adult films and in any language (with subtitles). There's no section dedicated to family films, but films that appeal to the child in us all are loved. DCIFF 2013 also welcomes horror films, open source films, art films and interactive films.

Stipulations: Metro DC Film Premieres required ( films that have had private screenings in DC are accepted), East Coast and US Premieres preferred. DCIFF 2012 showcased 3 world feature premieres, two of which already have distribution agreements. Screened films that are available in their entirety for public viewing online are accomodated, but that isn't the festival's preference.

Submission fees are entirely used to cover the cost of filmmaker support: press, screenings, seminars and outreach. DCIFF is a volunteer-run festival with a fourteen year track record.
